Format: Commander

Commander: Bartolomé del Presidio

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Bartolome del Presidio is the free sacrifice outlet that turns every death trigger into an aristocrat payoff. The deck's primary plan is to mill or tutor an Aura that returns an enchanted creature to the battlefield, put it on a reattachment engine like Danitha, Benalia's Hope or Boonweaver Giant, and loop the creature through Bartolome while Zulaport Cutthroat, Bastion of Remembrance, or Agent of the Iron Throne drains all opponents. Danitha acts as a hidden commander: her ETB can attach an Aura for free, making the cheapest self-contained loop. Secondary lines use Sun Titan and Angel of Indemnity for value reanimation and gradual drain. Without the commander, Dimir House Guard can still serve as a sacrifice outlet, but the plan slows noticeably.
