Commander: Kaalia of the Vast

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Mardu (Red/White/Black) build helmed by Kaalia of the Vast, focused on cheating powerful Angels, Demons, and Dragons into play during combat. The primary game plan is to accelerate mana, deploy Kaalia as early as possible, and use her attack trigger to put a high-impact creature directly onto the battlefield tapped and attacking. The deck then leverages extra-combat cards like Aurelia, the Warleader, Aggravated Assault, and Bloodthirster to chain multiple combats in a single turn, overwhelming opponents with incremental damage, card advantage, and combo finishes. Secondary win conditions include the Worldgorger Dragon + Animate Dead loop for infinite mana and ETB triggers (paired with Dragon Tempest for infinite damage), and the Master of Cruelties "one-shot" reduction followed by any damage source. The suite is packed with fast mana, tutors, and interaction, aiming to close games by turn 5-6.
