Deck overview

This Boros Dwarf kindred deck is led by Thorin, King of Durin's Folk, turning a wide board of legendary Dwarves and Equipment into an explosive Treasure-fueled combat engine. The deck curves low-cost Dwarves and utility artifacts on the opening turns before deploying Thorin on Turn 4. Once Thorin enters, every Dwarf cast generates a Treasure token while granting all other Dwarves a static power buff equal to your total artifact tokens. The game plan swiftly pivots to aggression on Turn 5, attacking with heavily buffed creatures and supplementing combat with direct burn from Dáin of the Ancient Halls, Balin, Loremaster, and Smaug the Magnificent. Dense single-mana interaction such as Swords to Plowshares and Dispatch removes critical blockers, while Boros Charm and Mithril Coat safeguard the army against sweepers. Although vulnerable to mass exile effects, the deck closes games efficiently across Turns 6 and 7 through overwhelming combat pressure and wide double-strike swings.
