Deck overview

The deck is a mono-black sacrifice deck led by Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER. Its normal game plan is to create expendable creatures, sacrifice them for mana or cards, and convert deaths into life loss through Bastion of Remembrance, Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Marionette Apprentice, or Syr Konrad, the Grim. Grave Pact and Dictate of Erebos can turn that engine into strong creature attrition. The clearest compact finish is Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose plus Exquisite Blood, started by High Market or another life-gain or life-loss event. Tutors make the combo reachable, but the eight-mana deployment and limited protection place the ordinary setup around turn 8. Once the first trigger resolves, the loop can eliminate all three opponents without another turn. If the combo is disrupted, the aristocrats plan remains functional but is slower and less deterministic.
