Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a five-color "cast from exile" value engine helmed by Karolina Dean, Runaway. Karolina provides a burst of {W}{U}{B}{R}{G} each turn that can only be spent on spells cast from exile, perfectly aligning with the deck's core theme. The primary game plan is to deploy early exile outlets (Party Thrasher, Fblthp, Lost on the Range, Eruth, Tormented Prophet), then use Karolina's mana and other ramp to chain spells from exile, generating tokens, direct damage, and card advantage. Payoffs like Quintorius Kand, Nico Minoru, Runaway, Pia Nalaar, Consul of Revival, and Faldorn, Dread Wolf Herald turn each exiled spell into a threat. A secondary infinite-mana combo exists with Vhal, Candlekeep Researcher + Umbral Mantle, but the deck lacks the tutors to reliably assemble it. The deck wins through overwhelming combat damage from tokens and big creatures, supplemented by repeated direct damage from Unstable Amulet and Shadow of the Goblin.
