Deck overview

This is a Golgari deathtouch-and-poison tribal deck helmed by The Serpent Society. The commander is a cheap deathtouch payoff: its ward taxes any targeting with five poison counters, and whenever another deathtouch creature you control dies, each opponent sacrifices a nontoken creature. The deck floods the board with cheap deathtouch bodies - Fynn, the Fangbearer, Hooded Blightfang, Poison-Tip Archer, Ophiomancer tokens, Saryth, the Viper's Fang - and wins through poison counters (Fynn doubling, Triumph of the Hordes infect overrun, the commander's ward) and life-drain triggers (Hooded Blightfang, Poison-Tip Archer, Vengeful Bloodwitch, South Wind Avatar). A recursion package (Cauldron of Essence, Conduit of Worlds, Reanimate, Victimize) plus big finishers (Ygra, Eater of All, Beledros Witherbloom, The Gitrog Monster) give it a midrange grind plan. It wins through combat and attrition rather than combos.
