Deck overview

Hazezon, Shaper of Sand turns every Desert entry into six Sand Warriors and lets the deck reuse Deserts from its graveyard. The deck supports this plan with extra-land effects such as Exploration, Azusa, Lost but Seeking, and Oracle of Mul Daya, land recursion from Ramunap Excavator and Ancient Greenwarden, and land tutors including Harrow, Crop Rotation, and Hour of Promise. Its main finish is a wide token board enhanced by Jetmir, Nexus of Revels, Intangible Virtue, Warleader's Call, or Impact Tremors. Ordinary setup becomes operational around turn six, and a must-answer combat board appears around turn seven. The deck usually needs several attacks and further landfall triggers to eliminate all three opponents, producing an ordinary finish around turn ten. It has useful spot removal and some protection, but many tapped lands, expensive payoffs, and limited access to specific finishers make the plan vulnerable to sweepers, graveyard hate, and disruption before combat.
