Deck overview

This Jeskai deck pairs Kratos, Stoic Father and Atreus, Impulsive Son to pilot an aggressive God-tribal and counter-scaling strategy. Kratos rewards God attacks and deaths by generating permanent experience counters, converting them into substantial +1/+1 counters on key creatures each end step. Atreus leverages these experience counters to provide repeatable card filtering and global burn, keeping your hand full while softening opposing life totals. Supported by dense 2-mana acceleration, the deck consistently lands both commanders by Turn 4. Midgame turns leverage proliferation engines like Inexorable Tide and Dreamtide Whale alongside evasive enablers such as Herald of Secret Streams and Abzan Falconer. While lacking compact infinite combos or heavy stax pieces, the list builds an overwhelming midgame presence with massive indestructible Gods and asymmetric wipes like Damning Verdict, reliably closing games through multi-opponent combat steps by Turn 8.
