Deck overview

This Grixis Superfriends deck centers on Nicol Bolas, the Ravager, using its front side for early disruption before flipping into Nicol Bolas, the Arisen to generate card advantage and control the battlefield. The deck employs heavy proliferate engines alongside multiple Nicol Bolas planeswalkers to accelerate toward devastating ultimate abilities. It controls the table with symmetric wipes, stax pieces like Opposition Agent and Notion Thief, and targeted removal. While grinding value through planeswalkers is effective, the deck can decisively end games using Underworld Breach lines with Brain Freeze and Lotus Petal, or Bolas Citadel storm combos supported by Aetherflux Reservoir and Sensei's Divining Top.
