Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Polymorph and Superfriends combo-control list helmed by Jace, Multiverse Architect. Leveraging an elite five-color mana base, dense fast acceleration like Mox Diamond and Mana Vault, and universal tutors like Demonic Tutor, the deck establishes rapid operational tempo. The primary strategy uses low-cost token generators such as Bitterblossom and Skrelv's Hive as polymorph fodder for Jace's −3 loyalty ability. Activating Jace allows the deck to cheat devastating game-ending creatures and planeswalkers into play, including Hoarding Broodlord, Jin-Gitaxias, Progress Tyrant, Toxrill, the Corrosive, and Void Winnower. Alternatively, the deck can bypass its commander entirely and execute the format's premier compact win condition: Thassa's Oracle combined with Demonic Consultation. Backed by free countermagic like Fierce Guardianship and Force of Will, alongside silence effects from Grand Abolisher and Teferi, Time Raveler, the deck protects its decisive turns while locking opponents out of meaningful interaction.
