Deck overview

Frodo and Sam form a partner engine that turns Food into card advantage and board presence: Sam generates a Food each combat and discounts its activation, while Frodo turns a 3-life burst into Ring-tempt card draw. The deck's primary path is to multiply Food/token production with Peregrin Took and Academy Manufactor, then finish with mass drain from Mirkwood Bats and Sanguine Bond, or a giant unblockable Feasting Hobbit. Secondary paths use Bilbo, Birthday Celebrant as a hidden commander once life reaches 111, and a wide Halfling token swarm with Pippin/Merry. The commander pair is the hinge: without Sam's consistent Food engine, the deck still works but becomes noticeably slower.
