Deck overview

This deck is a specialized 5-color Polymorph Midrange strategy piloted by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The primary game plan focuses on deploying inexpensive token producers on early turns, ramping into Jace on Turn 4, and immediately activating his -3 loyalty ability to exile a disposable token and cheat an overwhelming creature or planeswalker directly from the library onto the battlefield. Cheated threats like Archon of Cruelty, It That Betrays, and Archfiend of Despair rapidly dismantle opposing boards through forced sacrifices, combat evasion, and life loss doubling. Pillowfort elements including Propaganda, Norn's Annex, and Jace's passive attack tax provide defense against counterattacks while the deck sets up game-ending swings. The deck exhibits strong recovery and functional redundancy with backup cheat spells like Mass Polymorph and Proteus Staff, though it remains vulnerable to well-timed removal on target tokens and lacks dedicated countermagic.
