Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Mardu Vampire tribal and aristocrats build helmed by Edgar Markov. The primary game plan leverages Edgar's Eminence ability to generate 1/1 Vampire tokens whenever a Vampire spell is cast, creating a wide board presence from the command zone at zero mana cost. Early turns focus on deploying efficient low-cost Vampires like Charismatic Conqueror, Blood Artist, and Cruel Celebrant to establish a swarm of attackers and sacrifice fodder. In the mid-game, token doublers such as Mondrak, Glory Dominus and Anointed Procession, combined with tribal lords like Captivating Vampire and Bloodline Keeper, scale the board into a formidable threat. The deck converts its board into lethal damage through combat buffs, life-drain engines like Sanctum Seeker and Malakir Bloodwitch, or by assembling the infinite drain combo of Exquisite Blood with Sanguine Bond or Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose. Mass recursion via Patriarch's Bidding ensures high resilience against opposing sweepers.
