Elf - The Movie by user9164671

Format: Commander

Commander: Lathril, Blade of the Elves

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This deck is a focused Golgari Elf tribal build helmed by Lathril, Blade of the Elves, blending token generation, mana acceleration, and life-drain payoffs. The primary game plan is to deploy a critical mass of Elves, use Lathril's combat damage to create an army of 1/1 tokens, then finish via one of several overlapping win conditions: the commander's own activated ability (tap ten Elves to drain each opponent for 10), a massive Craterhoof Behemoth or Overwhelming Stampede combat step, or direct-drain effects like Shaman of the Pack and Nadier's Nightblade. The deck leans heavily on its dense mana-dork package (Priest of Titania, Elvish Archdruid, Wirewood Channeler) to power out high-cost finishers and tutors. While the commander is a strong token engine, the deck's win lines are distributed across the 99, giving it resilience even if Lathril is repeatedly answered.
