Deck overview

Xira, the Golden Sting is a Jund crime-and-eggs value deck. The primary plan is to land Xira early, attack to place egg counters, then use cheap removal and mass wipes to pop eggs, drawing cards and building flying Insect tokens while Magda, the Hoardmaster, Gisa, the Hellraiser, and Freestrider Lookout convert crimes into treasures, zombies, and lands. Secondary paths are monarch card advantage (the Courts, Custodi Lich, Grave Venerations), mass reanimation through Command the Dreadhorde or Virtue of Persistence, and one overwhelming Surge to Victory combat or a large Exsanguinate. No hidden commander is present; Kamber and Laurine operate as a tutor-pair subtheme. Xira is a haste draw engine and annoyance, not a dedicated voltron piece.
