Deck overview

This is a Simic X-spell and +1/+1-counter midrange deck helmed by Zimone, Infinite Analyst. The plan is to grow Zimone with successive X-spells, leverage her escalating cost reduction, and flood the board with oversized Hydras and constructs while counter-doublers (Hardened Scales, Doubling Season, Branching Evolution, The Earth Crystal) multiply every payoff. Primary wins are combat through massive modified creatures (often made unblockable by Herald of Secret Streams), Walking Ballista draining the table, and infinite-mana lines via Deadeye Navigator paired with Peregrine Drake or Cloud of Faeries into a Ballista or huge X-draw finish. Unbound Flourishing and Finale of Devastation provide explosive alternate closes. Zimone accelerates the X-suite but is not required for the combo or combat packages living in the 99.
