Deck overview

This deck is a mono-white Equipment aggro strategy led by Ekthi, Contaminator Priest. Ekthi converts every Equipment spell into an immediate board presence by granting living weapon and buffing Phyrexian Germs with +1/+1. This mechanic completely bypasses standard equip costs upon entry, turning low-cost Equipment like Colossus Hammer and Hulkbuster Armor into massive, immediate beaters. The deck accelerates into Ekthi on Turn 4, establishes critical board pressure on Turn 5, and eliminates opponents across sequential combat turns using evasion and double strike. Card advantage engines such as Puresteel Paladin, Sram, Senior Edificer, and Skullclamp maintain a steady flow of resources, while instant-speed phase-out and protection spells like Clever Concealment and Dawn's Truce safeguard key assets against opposing sweepers. If the board is cleared, powerful recursion pieces including Forge Anew and Brilliant Restoration facilitate rapid recovery.
