Deck overview

This deck is a Mono-Red forced-combat stax engine commanded by Baeloth Barrityl, Entertainer and Popular Entertainer. The strategy accelerates mana early to deploy Baeloth on Turn 4, then equips him with power-boosting artifacts like Commander's Plate, Blackblade Reforged, or Excalibur, Sword of Eden on Turn 5. Once Baeloth reaches 5 or more power, his static ability goads all opposing creatures with lesser power. This locks opponents into mandatory combat against each other, eliminating their ability to hold blockers or attack you, while generating Treasure tokens whenever dying goaded creatures trade. The deck amplifies mutual opponent damage through cards like Death Kiss, Avatar of Slaughter, and Frontier Warmonger, letting the table wear itself down across two combat rotations. Once only one weakened opponent remains, the deck closes the game on Turn 7 using high-power commander damage, Rogue's Passage, or a decisive Insurrection. Dense equipment protection and redirection spells safeguard Baeloth from removal.
