Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Izzet spellslinger deck commanded by Scarlet Witch, Chaotic Avenger. The central strategy revolves around manipulating the top of the library using cards like Brainstorm, Sensei's Divining Top, Mystical Tutor, and Scroll Rack to set up game-ending noncreature spells. Once Scarlet Witch connects in combat, she exiles two cards and casts high-impact spells—such as Omniscience, Time Stretch, Aminatou's Augury, and Call Forth the Tempest—entirely for free. Burn payoffs like Passionate Archaeologist, Thor, God of Thunder, and Nico Minoru, Runaway weaponize every free cast from exile to obliterate life totals. While the deck possesses explosive compounding card advantage and turns the corner rapidly on turn 5, its dependency on Scarlet Witch making unhindered combat contact leaves it vulnerable to well-timed spot removal and flying blockers.
