Deck overview

This Bant deck is commanded by Tidus, Yuna's Guardian, focusing on +1/+1 counter distribution, proliferate acceleration, and aggressive combat scaling. The primary game plan establishes low-cost counter generators on early turns, deploys Tidus on Turn 3 or 4, and uses his Cheer ability to draw extra cards while continuously growing the entire board. Midgame power spikes come from engines like Forgotten Ancient, Wakka, Devoted Guardian, and Maester Seymour, which rapidly balloon creature statistics. Evasion and combat multipliers such as Duskshell Crawler, Sphere Grid, and Chocobo Knights turn these counters into lethal swings starting on Turn 6. While the deck generates compounding card flow and massive board presence, its reliance on untapping with vulnerable creatures makes it susceptible to mass board wipes and targeted removal.
