Deck overview

This Mono-Black Aristocrats deck is piloted by Ayara, First of Locthwain, leveraging creature death and entry triggers to steadily drain the table while generating card advantage. The deck features extreme functional redundancy across sacrifice outlets, recursive fodder, and drain payoffs. It smoothly ramps into midgame mana engines using Cabal Coffers, Crypt Ghast, and Warren Soultrader. The deck transitions into lethal must-answer states by Turn 6, utilizing powerful closers like Bolas's Citadel or assembling instant two-card infinite drain combos like Bloodthirsty Conqueror with Enduring Tenacity or Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose. While highly resilient against creature attrition and capable of fast same-turn finishes once assembled, the list suffers from minimal instant-speed interaction and lacks dedicated protection for its key combo permanents against targeted exile and removal.
