Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered Temur creature combo deck piloted by Animar, Soul of Elements. The game plan accelerates mana on Turn 1 with dorks like Birds of Paradise or Llanowar Elves to deploy Animar on Turn 2. Animar accumulates +1/+1 counters with each creature cast, discounting subsequent generic mana costs. By Turn 4, the deck establishes card advantage engines like Beast Whisperer or Guardian Project. On Turn 5, it executes infinite mana loops using Temur Sabertooth and Peregrine Drake (or Hullbreaker Horror), chaining cast triggers to draw the library and finish the game on the spot with an arbitrarily large Walking Ballista. Animar's innate protection from white and black shields it from common spot removal, while efficient counterspells and green protection spells like Veil of Summer defend the combo.
