Drivnod, Carnage Dominus by Slamminslug

Format: Commander

Commander: Drivnod, Carnage Dominus

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a mono-black aristocrats deck helmed by Drivnod, Carnage Dominus, built entirely around doubling death triggers. The plan is to generate a steady stream of tokens - via Bitterblossom, Endrek Sahr, Master Breeder, Ophiomancer, Chittering Witch, Ghoulcaller Gisa, and Wand of Orcus - then sacrifice them through outlets like Viscera Seer, Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, and Ashnod's Altar to convert every death into drain, cards, treasures, and edicts. With Drivnod on the battlefield, each death trigger fires twice, doubling the output of Zulaport Cutthroat, Bastion of Remembrance, Pitiless Plunderer, and Dictate of Erebos. The deck wins through incremental life loss, a big Gray Merchant of Asphodel or Massacre Wurm swing, the Revel in Riches alternate condition, or simply grinding opponents out with recursion from Meathook Massacre II and Sheoldred, Whispering One.
