Deck overview

This mono-black deck combines aggressive reanimation strategies with aristocrat engines and compact infinite drain combos. Led by Witch-king of Angmar, who serves as a defensive combat deterrent and repeatable discard outlet, the deck focuses on filling the graveyard with high-cost bombs such as Razaketh, the Foulblooded and Archon of Cruelty. Efficient reanimation spells like Reanimate and Animate Dead cheat these threats into play as early as Turn 3 or 4. Once assembled, Razaketh, the Foulblooded converts creature tokens from Ophiomancer and Bitterblossom into instant-speed tutors, assembling an immediate kill via Exquisite Blood paired with Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose or Bloodthirsty Conqueror. Attrition pieces like Grave Pact and Tergrid, God of Fright control opposing creature development, while Cabal Coffers fuels massive endgame spells like Torment of Hailfire.
