Tergrid Swap by Slayus

Format: Commander

Commander: Tergrid, God of Fright // Tergrid's Lantern

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This deck is a focused mono-black discard and resource-denial strategy led by Tergrid, God of Fright. The front face steals permanents that opponents discard or sacrifice, rapidly turning symmetric resource loss into game-ending board advantages. Symmetric discard spells and sacrifice effects strip opposing hands while feeding engines like Waste Not, Geth's Grimoire, and Tergrid. Beyond crushing opponents under stolen boards, the deck wins through hard locks and infinite combos. It combines Professor Onyx with Chain of Smog to drain the table, loops Bloodchief Ascension with Mindcrank, or converts massive mana from Cabal Coffers into lethal Torment of Hailfire or Exsanguinate casts.
