Deck overview

Abzan counters-and-creatures combo deck built around Tayam's repeatable graveyard-to-battlefield recursion. The primary line is the Basking Broodscale + Rosie Cotton engine: each adapt creates a Spawn token, Rosie adds a +1/+1 counter back to Broodscale, and that trigger loops forever, producing infinite colorlessly-sacrificed Spawn mana and infinite counters; Walking Ballista or Marionette Apprentice converts those into lethal damage or life loss. Tayam acts as the value engine, recycling small permanents and providing vigilance counters, while a dense suite of dorks and creature tutors keeps the curve low. A rule-of-law hatebear package slows opponents, and a graveyard toolbox (Agatha's Soul Cauldron, Necrotic Ooze, Survival) gives alternative assembly paths. No true hidden commander exists; Broodscale is the closest secret engine.
