ZAHUR by Locke34

Format: Commander

Commander: Zahur, Glory's Past

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Zahur, Glory's Past leads a low-to-the-ground Orzhov aristocrats deck focused on rapid creature sacrifice, graveyard recursion, and life-drain loops. The primary win condition revolves around establishing an infinite sacrifice loop using Gravecrawler, Pitiless Plunderer, and any free sacrifice outlet like Viscera Seer or Bartolome del Presidio, draining the table with blood-artist effects such as Zulaport Cutthroat, Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim, or Corpse Knight. Zahur provides early board presence, card selection via surveil, and additional Zombie bodies at max speed. Backed by efficient tutors, mass reanimation spells like Raise the Past, and fast recursion, the deck quickly transitions from incremental attrition into explosive, game-ending combo turns.
