Deck overview

This deck is a thematic Naya midrange strategy commanded by Toph, the First Metalbender, focused on animating lands through the Earthbend mechanic and turning them into aggressive combat threats. Nontoken artifacts double as lands under Toph, widening the targets for Earthbend abilities while granting lands haste, +1/+1 counters, and built-in death/exile recursion. The mana base ramps steadily into high-impact landfall and combat multipliers like Bumi, Unleashed, Toph, Greatest Earthbender, and Mossborn Hydra. The deck achieves consistent assembly by Turn 4, applying critical pressure on Turn 6 and closing out the game by Turn 8 through wide combat steps with double strike and trample. Because Earthbent lands return to the battlefield tapped upon dying or being exiled, the deck exhibits format-ceiling resilience to conventional board wipes, quickly rebuilding its commander and mana base within a single turn.
