Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos attrition strategy centered on symmetrical hand destruction and hellbent card advantage. It uses low-cost discard pieces like Delirium Skeins, Bottomless Pit, and Burglar Rat to drain the entire table of resources early. To break parity, the deck utilizes engines that thrive on empty hands or discard triggers, including Inti, Seneschal of the Sun, Tinybones, Bauble Burglar, Asylum Visitor, and Case of the Crimson Pulse. Its commander, Malfegor, serves as a top-end curve piece that clears opposing boards by turning a discarded hand into forced creature sacrifices, leaving behind a 6/6 flying attacker. Additional finishers like Kroxa, Titan of Death's Hunger, Necrogoyf, and Syr Konrad, the Grim apply continuous combat and burn pressure against resource-starved opponents. While the strategy thoroughly dismantles combo and control hands, its reliance on natural land drops and multi-turn combat damage leaves it vulnerable to aggressive starts and topdecked sweepers.
