Deck overview

Animar, Soul of Elements leads a creature-combo deck built around turning +1/+1 counters into enormous mana discounts. The core line is to deploy Animar early, feed it cheap or free creatures until Ancestral Statue costs zero, then bounce Statue to itself forever. Molten Gatekeeper, Impact Tremors, or Witty Roastmaster converts each recast into one damage to every opponent, ending the game in one loop. Fauna Shaman, Momir Vig, Shared Summons, and Transit Mage make that two-card package common. If disrupted, the deck pivots to trampling hydras or Animar commander damage, with Simic Ascendancy as a slow backstop. No hidden commander drives the list; Momir Vig is simply a powerful secondary engine.
