Commander: The Great Goblin

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Rakdos deck is built around The Great Goblin and the amass mechanic, creating a synergistic army of Goblins, Orcs, and Army tokens. The game plan is to repeatedly put +1/+1 counters on an Army via amass spells, triggering the commander to deal 2 damage to an opponent each time, while also generating card advantage from the death of those creatures. The deck leans into tribal synergies with lords like Goblin Warchief and Goblin Chieftain, and has two primary win conditions: assembling a massive, double-striking Army with Assault on Osgiliath, or using Repercussion combined with a board wipe (Blasphemous Act or Toxic Deluge) to deal enormous damage to all opponents. The strategy is linear but effective: amass relentlessly, trigger the commander, and finish with a haymaker.
