Do Crimes, Stop Times by Papa-Triste

Format: Commander

Commander: Obeka, Brute Chronologist

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Obeka, Brute Chronologist leads a Grixis tempo-value deck that weaponizes end-the-turn triggers to keep temporary copies, extra-turn spells, and attack-phase creatures permanently. The primary plan is to develop card advantage engines, then use Obeka or Sundial of the Infinite to negate sacrifice and lose-the-game triggers from cards like Kiki-Jiki, Flameshadow Conjuring, Final Fortune, and Warrior's Oath. Secondary paths are big-dragon beatdown with haste enablers and a compact Rionya, Fire Dancer combo with Terror of the Peaks or Devastating Onslaught. The hidden commander is Rionya, Fire Dancer, which provides repeatable token generation and a genuine combo finish. The deck is built to use Obeka's activated ability as a safety valve rather than as a dedicated combo piece, so it can still function if she is answered.
