Shadow by Dubthestep

Format: Commander

Commander: Oloro, Ageless Ascetic

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This deck is a Shadow tribal/Voltron strategy helmed by Oloro, Ageless Ascetic. The primary game plan is to deploy unblockable shadow creatures, suit them up with equipment like the Swords of X and Y, and repeatedly trigger combat-damage effects for value and eventual lethal damage. Oloro, Ageless Ascetic provides passive life gain and a repeatable card-draw engine from the command zone, fueling the hand while the board accumulates. Win conditions include commander damage via Super State or True Conviction double strike, life halving from Scytheclaw and Quietus Spike, and table-wide damage through Super State's trigger. The deck forgoes infinite combos, relying instead on inevitability through unblockable beatdown and resilient equipment persistence.
