Deck overview

This Mardu pillowfort deck wins by making opponents attack each other and punishing any attack. Isshin, Two Heavens as One doubles every attack trigger you control, so Revenge of Ravens, Hissing Miasma, Marchesa's Decree, Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs and similar cards deal twice the damage, gain twice the life, or create twice the tokens. Tax effects like Ghostly Prison, Sphere of Safety and Norn's Annex make attacking you expensive, while goad effects like Kardur, Fumiko the Lowblood, Disrupt Decorum and Shiny Impetus force attacks elsewhere. Monarch engines and steady draw keep cards flowing while opponents slowly bleed out. There is no infinite combo; the win is incremental drain and attrition.
