Deck overview

This deck is a classic Dimir Faerie tribal tempo strategy led by Tegwyll, Duke of Splendor. It establishes an early evasive board state using low-cost Faeries, then compounds card advantage by holding up instant-speed interaction and flash spells on opponents' turns. Tegwyll acts as both an anthem and an insurance policy, converting creature deaths into fresh card draw to keep resources flowing. The deck controls the pace of play with efficient counterspells like Counterspell and Force of Will, supplemented by bounce spells and asymmetric wipes such as Kindred Dominance and Tegwyll's Scouring. Win conditions center on swarming the skies, leveraging drain triggers from Obyra, Dreaming Duelist, and closing the game out around Turn 7 to 9 through overwhelming combat boosts from Shadow Puppeteers, Glen Elendra Liege, or Alela, Cunning Conqueror.
