Deck overview

This Naya deck, helmed by Marisi, Breaker of the Coil, is a goad-and-combat-control strategy. The plan is to force every opponent's creature to attack each other while Marisi's combat lock prevents opponents from casting spells during combat, then clean up with doubled damage and extra combat steps. The deck deploys a dense suite of goad pieces - Disrupt Decorum, Taunt from the Rampart, Bothersome Quasit, Puppet Master, String Puller - to redirect the table's aggression, while Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, The Sound of Drums, and Combat Celebrant multiply the deck's own damage into a lethal clock. Secondary engines like Toski, Bearer of Secrets and Ohran Frostfang convert combat damage into cards. It wins through incremental combat inevitability rather than combos.
