Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos political attrition and forced combat deck commanded by Xantcha, Sleeper Agent. The primary strategy accelerates mana on Turn 2 to deploy Xantcha under an opponent's control on Turn 3. Xantcha immediately forces that player to attack other opponents while serving as a card-drawing mana sink. Secondary threats like Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos and goad cards like Disrupt Decorum accelerate table-wide damage. The deck controls the board using efficient sweepers like Blasphemous Act and asymmetric suppression like Archfiend of Depravity. In the mid-to-late game, damage multipliers like Dictate of the Twin Gods or overloaded Spectacular Showdown turn opposing boards against each other, concluding games around Turn 8. An alternate instant-win combo of Dualcaster Mage and Twinflame provides a compact backup win condition if combat stalls.
