Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy 5-color Polymorph strategy helmed by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The list is carefully constructed so that every creature card in the 99 is a devastating 6-to-10 CMC bomb, eliminating low-cost whiffs entirely. In the opening turns, the deck deploys efficient 2-CMC mana rocks and noncreature token engines such as Skrelv's Hive, Dreadhorde Invasion, and Staff of the Storyteller. On Turn 4, Jace enters the battlefield and uses his −3 loyalty ability to exile a fodder token, revealing directly into game-warping threats like Archon of Cruelty, Serra's Emissary, Archfiend of Despair, or Avacyn, Angel of Horror. Backup cheat engines such as Proteus Staff, Mass Polymorph, and Synthetic Destiny ensure high redundancy if the commander is removed. Supported by efficient 1-to-2 CMC spot removal and sweeping wraths, the deck locks down the board and rapidly overwhelms the table through flying combat damage.
