Deck overview

This Edgar Markov deck is an aggressive Vampire tribal and aristocrats list that capitalizes on Edgar's Eminence ability to flood the battlefield with 1/1 Vampire tokens for every Vampire spell cast. The primary strategy involves playing low-mana-value Vampires during the early turns to build an exponential board presence, buffing the swarm with tribal lords like Legion Lieutenant and Captivating Vampire, and draining the table using life-loss triggers from Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, and Sanctum Seeker. The deck transitions into the late game by casting Edgar Markov to deliver massive team-wide +1/+1 counter boosts on attack or resolving asymmetric sweepers like Olivia's Wrath. It also features an infinite drain backup line in Exquisite Blood combined with Sanguine Bond. While fast and resilient against single-target removal thanks to Eminence, the deck relies on combat damage and drain over multiple turns, making it sensitive to timely sweepers.
