Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Mono-Green Stompy deck built around Ghalta, Primal Hunger. The game plan revolves around leveraging cheap mana dorks and over-statted early creatures—such as Steel Leaf Champion, Pugnacious Hammerskull, and Gigantosaurus—to discount Ghalta's casting cost down to {G}{G} by Turn 4. Once deployed, Ghalta presents a massive 12/12 trample threat that demands immediate answers. The deck capitalizes on power-based card draw engines like Garruk's Uprising and Elemental Bond to maintain hand size while overwhelming opponents with combat damage. Finishers like Overwhelming Stampede and Unnatural Growth allow the deck to push through lethal damage across multiple opponents quickly. While vulnerable to timely creature board wipes and lacking stack interaction, the deck exhibits high redundancy and rapid re-deployment capabilities.
