Deck overview

This Jeskai deck leverages Gwen Stacy // Ghost-Spider to convert impulse-draw mechanics and 'cast from exile' triggers into scalable board presence. Gwen enters early to bank an exiled card, then transforms into Ghost-Spider on Turn 5 to provide an evasive, vigilant attacker that grows whenever cards are played from exile. The 99 is packed with impulse-draw effects, Hero creatures, and +1/+1 counter synergies like Araña, Heart of the Spider, SP//dr, Piloted by Peni, and Kami of Celebration. These engines create a steady stream of extra card access while powering up attackers. Direct burn from Thundering Raiju, Spider-Man 2099, and Flaming Tyrannosaurus supplements combat damage to pressure all opponents simultaneously. The deck operates as a resilient combat-focused midrange deck that accumulates steady card advantage and closes games around Turn 9.
