Format: Commander

Commander: Ozai, the Phoenix King

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Ozai, the Phoenix King commands an aggressive Rakdos combat and burn engine built around firebending mana and combat manipulation. Ozai converts all unspent mana into persisting red mana while gaining flying and indestructible once a mana surplus is established. The primary game plan accelerates into heavy mana generation through attack triggers, converting combat mana into lethal extra combat chains or colossal burn spells. The deck achieves victory through infinite combat loops using Aggravated Assault paired with Avatar Roku or The Reaver Cleaver, massive damage amplification via Jeska and Isengard Unleashed, or devastating mana sinks like Torment of Hailfire.
