Deck overview

K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth commands an explosive mono-black cEDH turbo reanimator and storm engine. By converting every black mana pip into two life, K'rrik generates staggering mana velocity, enabling rapid deployment of massive draw spells and reanimation packages. The primary win condition centers on resolving Buried Alive to place Necrotic Ooze, Asmodeus the Archfiend, and Skirge Familiar into the graveyard. Reanimating Necrotic Ooze bypasses Asmodeus's drawback, drawing the entire library for life while converting discarded cards into black mana with Skirge Familiar. From there, the deck casts Aetherflux Reservoir or loops Gray Merchant of Asphodel with Chainer, Dementia Master to eliminate all three opponents on Turn 3. While vulnerable to early graveyard exile and targeted creature removal, the deck's extreme speed, redundant tutors, and backup engines like Ad Nauseam, Peer into the Abyss, and Bolas's Citadel make it a premier proactive threat.
