Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Bant midrange strategy commanded by Yuna, Grand Summoner. It focuses on chaining +1/+1 counter placement, counter doubling, and explosive creature-based card draw. Early turns establish mana velocity through land ramp and scaling mana dorks like Kami of Whispered Hopes and Gyre Sage. By Turn 4, Yuna accelerates board development, turning every subsequent creature cast into an oversized threat. The deck converts counter growth into overwhelming card advantage via The Great Henge, Fathom Mage, and Guardian Project. Between Turns 5 and 6, the deck closes the game by granting evasion and double strike with Kodama of the West Tree, Abzan Falconer, and Akroma's Will, or by executing a compact infinite combo with Heliod, Sun-Crowned and Walking Ballista. A dense suite of phase-out and protection spells ensures the board survives opposing sweepers.
