Deck overview

This is a Jeskai legendary-Wizard spellslinger deck helmed by Gandalf, Party Guest, whose combat-step ability free-casts an instant or sorcery with mana value up to twice the number of legendary Wizards you control. The deck runs over twenty legendary Wizards as both the engine and the value base, pairing them with copy effects (Stella Lee, Wild Card, Naru Meha, Master Wizard, Storm of Saruman), flashback (Lier, Disciple of the Drowned), and cast-from-graveyard/exile lines (Gale, Waterdeep Prodigy, Quistis Trepe, Urianger Augurelt) to chain spells every turn. Primary wins are Approach of the Second Sun (cast twice), Insurrection as a one-shot combat finisher, and Improvisation Capstone free-spell chains. It is a midrange value deck that grinds card advantage and then closes with a haymaker.
