Deck overview

This deck is a classic mono-red tribal midrange build focused on Lathliss, Dragon Queen. It uses early artifact acceleration and hand filtering to deploy its 6-mana commander on Turn 5. Once Lathliss enters, every subsequent Dragon spell creates an additional 5/5 flying Dragon token. This rapidly builds a dominating aerial presence. The deck uses damage multipliers like Fiery Emancipation and Gratuitous Violence, extra combat steps via Aggravated Assault and Desert Were-Worm, and tribal firebreathing to eliminate opponents through combat. The interaction suite leverages asymmetric damage sweepers like Desolation of Smaug to keep enemy boards clear while leaving its own Dragons intact. Targeted protection equipment shields key threats from removal, ensuring a steady, high-damage clock that closes the game around Turn 8.
