Deck overview

Colonel Autumn leads an Orzhov aristocrats deck combining sacrifice value with wide plus-one-plus-one counter aggression. The primary game plan uses disposable creatures such as Nested Shambler and Doomed Traveler as sacrifice fodder for exploit triggers. Colonel Autumn grants exploit to all your legendary creatures, allowing you to continually distribute counters across your entire army whenever a creature exploits another. Death triggers from Grim Haruspex, Agent Venom, and Pitiless Plunderer sustain your hand and mana. You close out games by overwhelming opponents with a massive board buffed by Metastatic Evangel proliferates, Minthara, Merciless Soul experience pumps, or Dragon Throne of Tarkir combat swings.
