Deck overview

This Bant deck uses Morska, Undersea Sleuth as an engine commander to generate Clue tokens and fuel consistent card draw. The early game focuses on deploying fast mana and draw engines like Esper Sentinel, Rhystic Study, and Mystic Remora to smoothly dig through the library. Morska grows naturally into a solid blocker while keeping hand size limitless. Behind a casual-looking Clue and Detective synergy board, the list conceals a decisive, game-ending two-card combo: Heliod, Sun-Crowned and Walking Ballista. Creature and enchantment tutors (Enlightened Tutor, Eladamri's Call, Worldly Tutor) locate the missing combo pieces. Once assembled, Heliod grants Walking Ballista lifelink, enabling an unbounded damage loop that eliminates all three opponents immediately. A dense package of free and cheap counterspells (Fierce Guardianship, Force of Will, Force of Negation, Pact of Negation) cleanly protects the combo turn and halts opposing win attempts.
