The Dragons Hoard by PhoenixClipz

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug, Wicked Worm

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Smaug, Wicked Worm leads a Rakdos Treasure drain deck. The primary plan is to flood the board with Treasures and convert every creation and sacrifice into direct life loss with Mirkwood Bats, Nadier's Nightblade and Mayhem Devil. Smaug supplies an initial burst of tapped Treasures equal to opponents' artifacts and turns every Treasure-fueled spell into card draw. Secondary paths include an infinite token loop with Dualcaster Mage + Saw in Half + Twinflame that wins through the same drain triggers, and combat pressure from Goldspan Dragon and Smaug the Magnificent. Mirkwood Bats acts as the hidden commander; the deck tutors and protects it like a second commander.
