Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov lifegain and Angel midrange strategy commanded by Liesa, Shroud of Dusk. The primary game plan focuses on establishing early lifegain enablers, deploying Liesa on turn 4, and utilizing her static ability to punish opponents with 2 life loss per spell cast. The deck scales its board through powerful Angel tribal synergies and lifegain payoffs such as Righteous Valkyrie, Resplendent Angel, and Angelic Accord. By boosting life totals well above starting values, the deck turns on massive team buffs and generates a continuous stream of 4/4 flying Angel tokens. Opponents are squeezed between an aggressive aerial clock and relentless life attrition from Polluted Bonds, Marauding Blight-Priest, and Liesa's tax. With flexible spot removal like Swords to Plowshares and Anguished Unmaking, the deck disrupts opposing threats while closing games around turn 8 through overwhelming combat damage or alternate win conditions like Test of Endurance.
